  • Welcome to Lulu Photography!

As a child, my father coined me with the nickname, Lulu. I'm not entirely sure why, but the name stuck and I will forever be known to him as such. Here at Lulu, I like to do things a little differently. When I look through the lens of my camera, I see the image of God reflected. I love to see how He reveals himself through each person. Sometimes it is the mystery of a glowing mother to be...or the purity of a newborn baby. I see the laughter and unbridled joy between siblings and the unabashed love between a couple on their wedding day.

There are so many visions of God's goodness and I am delighted to capture that one special moment in time to be cherished forever. It is my sincere prayer that I deliver the very essence of each person as he or she reflects God Himself.

At Lulu it is my pleasure to give you all of your images. One payment covers your session, all edited images on CD and the release reproduction rights. Please see the "Pricing" tab above for more information.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to meet you soon!

    Love,
    Becke' Stuart

Macro Fun!

I have wanted a macro lens for as long as I can remember.  There is something about seeing the intricate details of God’s creation that leads me straight to worship!  What an amazing Creator we have!  I knew we didn’t need to pay the $700+ that was needed for a very specialty lens, so I went with the Kenko extension tubes.  They take some getting used to, but I think they will be a fun little addition to the ol’ camera bag.  It will be exciting to offer this service for my newborn clients since those precious babies grow way too quickly!

Winner of Romance Challenge!

There is a fun site called “Capture Arkansas” that allows you to upload your photos and compete in various challenges.  The theme of February was “Romance” and I received the “Editor’s Choice” award!  Yay for a $100 gift card to Bedford Camera!  It is extra sweet because this photo is of my sister and her husband!  Amelia is always my favorite model!

I am often blown away at God’s story of photography on my life.  I say His story for many reasons.  I never would have gotten into it had it not been for my mother-in-law dragging me to a photography class or for my friend Michelle giving me the needed encouragement and push at each critical level.  I’ve told you that God has used photography to help in the healing after losing my sister, Kiley.  I am daily amazed because I don’t do marketing (except for an occasional post on Facebook) and yet God brings me the perfect amount of business.

It has been God’s gift to me, this thing called photography.  He has allowed me to see His goodness through the lens and then He gives me the grace to share that goodness with you all.  I will never forget the day I was down on my knees, crying my heart out to Him for this new adventure that I was about to embark on.  I was terrified of charging money and possibly messing people’s images up.  I was full of fear and doubt.  So, I surrendered the idea of photography completely over to God and told Him to make it look like what He wanted.

I pray my business and images always point to His amazing grace and glory.  I know it is His favor that allows me to be a part of your lives in this way.  Thanks for being with me on this journey!

Girl Party!

Imagine this with me:  one beautiful lady has two beautiful daughters.  Those daughters each have two of their own beautiful daughters.  I get invited to come capture all the God-given beauty.  We just had ourselves a big girl party.
